What is poker and why play at 9wkt?
Poker is one of the most popular card games in the world. It is not purely based on luck — it combines skill, strategy, and psychological judgement. In every hand you must make decisions — when to bet, when to fold, and when to raise boldly.
9wkt offers poker with a full Bengali-language service built with Bangladeshi players in mind. You can get started with a deposit of just ৳200 via bKash, Nagad, or Rocket, and after winning it is possible to receive your withdrawal in as little as 15 minutes to 2 hours.
New players can enjoy a 100% first-deposit bonus — up to ৳15,000. This extra balance gives you the opportunity to play more hands.
Popular Poker Variants
Several types of poker are available at 9wkt Casino. Each variant has its own rules and strategy, so both new and experienced players can choose the game that suits them.
Texas Hold'em
The most widely played poker format in the world. Each player receives two hole cards and uses five community cards to build the best hand.
Ideal for beginnersOmaha Hi
Similar to Texas Hold'em, but each player receives four hole cards. This creates far more hand combinations and the pot size is often larger.
High actionSeven Card Stud
Played without community cards. Each player receives seven cards individually and tries to win by forming the best five-card hand.
Strategy-focusedCaribbean Stud Poker
Played directly against the dealer. A straightforward casino poker variant where you do not need to worry about other players bluffing.
For beginnersTeen Patti
A three-card poker variant that is hugely popular in Bangladesh and South Asia. Its simple rules and fast rounds make it a favourite among local players.
Local favouriteVideo Poker
A single-player game similar to a slot machine but following poker hand rankings. Play at your own pace with a fixed payout table.
Single playerKey Strategies for Winning at Poker
Understand Hand Strength
Memorise hand rankings from Royal Flush down to High Card. In the early stages, only play strong hands — choose premium hole cards (such as high pairs or suited connectors) and fold weak hands.
Play According to Position
Your position at the poker table is very important. Being in a late position (close to the dealer) lets you make decisions with more information. Stay conservative in early position and you can be more aggressive in late position.
Bankroll Management
Never put all your funds on a single table. A general rule is not to bet more than 5% of your total bankroll in any one session. At 9wkt you can easily deposit via bKash or Nagad and set a winning limit before you play.
Understand Pot Odds
Pot odds are the ratio of the current pot size to the amount you need to call. If the potential reward in the pot is greater than your call amount, calling is the mathematically correct decision.
Bluffing Strategy
Bluffing is an integral part of poker, but it must be used with restraint. Observe the board texture, your table image, and your opponent's tendencies to bluff at the right moment.
Poker Hand Rankings
The list below shows all poker hand rankings from highest to lowest. Memorising this is the first step to playing poker.

|---|---|---|
| 1 | Royal Flush | A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit — the highest hand |
| 2 | Straight Flush | Five consecutive cards of the same suit |
| 3 | Four of a Kind | Four cards of the same rank |
| 4 | Full House | One Three of a Kind + one Pair |
| 5 | Flush | Any five cards of the same suit |
| 6 | Straight | Five consecutive cards of any suit |
| 7 | Three of a Kind | Three cards of the same rank |

| 9 | One Pair | Two cards of the same rank |
| 10 | High Card | None of the above — the highest card counts |
